Creating a Photographic Portfolio: A workshop for Visual Artists and Craftspeople All artists need good photographs of their work for : - Submissions to public and commercial galleries - A documented record of their works - Support for marketing works at fairs, craft shows, and exhibitions This workshop series will give artists and people some of the skills they will need to create an effective and appealing photographic portfolio of their work. Participants will learn how to photograph samples of their own work using natural and artificial lighting and how to use backdrops and other techniques to create appealing photographs. Workshop Presenter: Doug Jones Doug has been a professional photographer for a number of years and has experience in photographing art and craft works.
