Beyond the Snapshot
Despite the advent of automatic point-and-shoot cameras, making the photograph you want can still be a challenge. This course will help you understand the basics of camera operation, but more importantly, you willl earn to explore your own creative ideas to make unique photographic images.
This workshop is designed for novice to intermediate photographers, with individual coaching and feedback from the instructor. A variety of interesting subject matter will be explored during several short field trips in the local area.

Interpreting the Landscape
We all enjoy beautiful scenery, but making good photographs of our experiences can sometimes be difficult and frustrating. This workshop will help you learn how to use your camera, select the right film, and compose photographs that reflect your unique vision of the natural world.
The natural landscape of the Vernon area will be your classroom as we explore a variety of subjects, weather, and light.
This course is intended for noviceto intermediate photographers, and the instructor will offer individual coaching and feedback to help you make your own unique images.
